Loyalty, continued..

Hi..

Continuing on the subject of loyalty, the moot point I would like to raise is... does the law of diminishing returns apply in the case of employees who have remained ' loyal' for too long??
What does an organisation do proactively to prevent this from happening? Maybe, monitor performance not merely by some numbers, but by original work done, new skill added, etc..
One needs to foster a climate of placing a premium on original thinking, encouraging atribe of nay sayers, and resisting the temptation to treat non conformists as disloyal !!

Happy stimulations..

Unfortunately not many people recognize this reality.

loyalty = (not necessarily) productivity (of employees)

loyalty = (not necessarily) profitability (of customers)

And by placing a premium on 'cortex stimulators'..

Thought-provoking indeed..
